Our Term 3 Breakfast Connector meet follows on from our Term Two meeting being held this Thursday (it’s not too late to register for that one!)
The term three Connector is being held at the Russley Golf Club.

8-9am: Linda Miller and Iva Ropati presentation and discussion – opportunity for Principals to have their say!

About the Speakers and topic
Iva Ropati and Linda Miller have been seconded from their schools to the role of Lead Principals for the Principal Professional Learning and Development Strand of Rauhuia, the Teaching Council’s leadership space. These roles have been set up through the work of a governance group representing the main Principal associations of Aotearoa New Zealand; NZPF, SPANZ, Te Aketea, Pacific, Catholic, Specialist Schools, and Area Schools.
Our brief is to:
– Lead the development of the Principal PLD strand of the leadership strategy with the Teaching Council.
– Engage with Principals about leadership growth and development and how they can be best supported by the system.
– Provide the Teaching Council/MOE with feedback from Principals describing how the strategy could succeed for them – particularly relating to Professional learning and development.
Cost for Breakfast is $20 per head.
